Gilfresh Produce

Gilfresh Produce is a local agribusiness, located in the countryside, close to the small village of Loughgall, in County Armagh. The Gilpin family have been involved in the growing and supplying of vegetables to the local market for the past fifty years.

Thomas Gilpin, who took over the business, directly controls the supply of vegetables from approximately 400 acres of land locally as well as the use of a number of satellite growers and joint ventures with growers in Scotland, England, and Spain.

Over the years the operations of Gilfresh Produce have progressed - developing from a simple operation, into one of the highest calibre packhouses in Northern Ireland and even the United Kingdom.

Within the past years Thomas foresaw the need to upgrade the processing facility in order to satisfy the increased demands of the multiple retail chains which had developed a strong presence within Northern Ireland.
The end product of this was the creation of Gilfresh Produce and the investment of several hundred thousnad pounds in order to develop a state of the art processing plant within Northern Ireland.
