Ardagh Beef - West Cork

Our organic beef is produced in West Cork.

The calves are born on the suckler farm of Con and Margharita Burns in Union Hall.  They are weaned in late summer and brought to Ardagh where they over-winter indoors in a straw-bedded house, eating silage and a small amount of bought-in organic grain.  They spend the summer eating grass outdoors.  The beef are then slaughtered by Skibbereen butcher Liam O’Driscoll or sold to Good Herdsmen Ltd.
