Gold River Farm Ltd
The Pierce and Winterbotham families have been farming organically in Aughrim, County Wicklow, since 2000. On the south-facing rolling hills of Tinakilly and Balleshall, on land which has been farmed for generations, Gold River Farm grows a wide selection of organic vegetables in season for hotels, restaurants and the catering trade in Dublin and Wicklow.
In 2009 Gold River began organic pig production which will be available for sale in 2010.
Gold River Farm produces an extraordinary selection of fresh organic fruit, vegetables and herbs - food which is ‘alive’, tasty and nutritious - as evidenced recently by the Newcastle University study which has proven that organic really is better - more nutritious and healthier!
