In 1989 Valeo Foods was acquired by IAWS Group plc. Shamrock Foods remains a 100% Irish-owned company to this day.
2003 was one of the most exciting in the long history of the brand, the culmination of which was a complete rebranding that involved a new logo, revitalised packaging and the addition of many new and exciting products to the range. This new image was designed to give the brand a more contemporary look while still reflecting its core values of heritage and quality.
As part of the rebranding, Valeo also launched a new range of snacking nuts called Shamrock Snack Packs. These have proved extremely popular with Irish consumers looking for a healthy alternative to confectionery.
