On-Line Course - An Introduction to Organic Farming

A new FETAC accredited on-line course titled ‘An Introduction to Organic Farming’ is currently being developed by Teagasc.
It is anticipated that the course - An Introduction to Organic Farming - will be of 25 hours duration and will incorporate two visits to organically certified holdings. Assessment will take place via a short test comprised of 30 questions, together with the production of an organic conversion plan. This course will have level 5 Fetac accreditation. The first course is planned for September 2009.
